By submitting an application for a Stall at the Brisbane City Markets and/or Cathedral Square Markets or renewing a current Stall, the Stallholder acknowledges that they have read and understood and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the exclusion of liability and indemnity which are available at www.brisbanecitymarkets.com.au.
In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” means Goodwill Projects Pty Ltd ACN 133 432 078. “You” means the stallholder and any of your employees, agents, contractors and invitees.

In order to receive your requirements accurately and to respond faster we prefer online or email enquiries.
Please be aware that we do not offer refunds for stall cancellations after payment has been. In the event you have to cancel your booking, please let us know by COB Monday prior to your booking to avoid the site fee remaining payable.
Cancellations received prior to COB Monday prior to the market will result in a credit being offered to attend on an alternative date. Credits cannot be transferred to another market.
Please note the market(s) reserves the right to cancel a market or market/stallholder attendance at any time.
Stall fees differ between each market location. This is also based on amount of space/m2 required, electrical requirements, vehicle requirements, and nature of goods sold. Ie Hot Food stall, home wears, fashion design, Dog treats etc. Please select from one of the options in our stall holder application located on the market website. Casual stall fee is weekly, while permanent (secure regular location) is paid monthly (this offers a discounted rate).
* Permanent stall sites can be provided if attending each week consistently.
Casual stalls must be booked and payment must be received by close of business the day before market trading. If you require a last minute booking – please call the market mobile number, the market manager is happy to assist. *Please do not call too late in the evening*
Once attendance is confirmed we will provide you with all the relevant information you need to set up and enjoy market trading. This includes location, directions, times, and any logistic or site specific information to best assist you. It’s very easy!
Upon arrival at the markets you will be met at the Designated Entrance to the Markets and shown to your allocated site by one of our friendly staff.
Stallholder conduct is an important part of each Market attendance. Conduct specifically refers to professional standards, communication and / or cooperation in the spirit of the markets - including arrival times, vehicle use, language, hygiene, quality standards, illegal sales, drug and alcohol use, correct and honest labelling, presentation, well maintained and safe equipment, courtesy to others including neighbouring stallholders, attendees, safety officials, and staff members, and a zero tolerance to inappropriate, rude, or intimidating behaviour in the form of spoken, physical or deemed similar actions. Brisbane City Markets reserves the right to evict any stallholder from the market for any reason, before, during, or after the market. This includes the refusal as well as the cancellation of an advance booking or booking schedule.
Please always be conscious of those around you, observe all safety procedures, and please follow all directions upon arrival, during and following each market. Please report any incidents to one of our team members immediately.
If you are operating a Food Stall and are unsure about Brisbane City Council requirements for a "Temporary Food Stall License" please contact the Brisbane City Council on 133 263 or visit the Council's website at www.brisbane.qld.gov.au for further information.
Goodwill Projects support the local community and registered charities. If you qualify as a local community group or a registered charity, we offer discounted Stall fees which are subject to availability.
The Information Desk is located within the markets at Reddacliff Place. A first aid kit and the Lost & Found register are also located at the desk.
At Cathedral Square the market manager can be found within the market, look for the bright pink shirt or call the market mobile. They have access to the first aid kit and lost and found register.
Entry times are specific for each Stallholder and will be provided to each Stallholder prior to trading day.
No packing down during official market hours. All gazebos and gear must be packed down before bringing vehicle on-site.
Please do not pack down your site until the market is officially finished and the manager has provided a green light to start pack down. Do not retrieve your vehicle until your equipment is packed up, and do not move your on site without a spotter wearing High Vis present (our traffic control and market staff) – ensuring the site is safe for everyone.

Stallholder parking is not provided at every market or event. On site parking requires prior approval from the market operator.
Please be aware that we cannot be made liable for any parking fines. Please ensure you do not park on private property or block any access ways.
Access to 10amp or 15amp power attracts an additional charge depending on the type of equipment.
All stallholders must supply their own public liability insurance.
Please ask the manager or team members where bathrooms, water and seating is located. This is dependent on each market location.

The sale of some second hand items and counterfeit/illegal goods is not allowed.
You must have your own public and product liability insurance if you sell certain products. Please ensure you meet any local, state and federal law requirements.
Important* All food and produce labelling or signs must correctly identify the location and region of origin. This is also an important part of letting your customers know where & what type of seasonal item they are purchasing, whether you are a grower, co-op, wholesaler, distributor, retailer, helping the neighbours, friends or other - this is required. Please ensure this is displayed at all times.
The Market Operator reserves the right to refuse entry, remove attendance or permit trade at the markets at any time.
All Food Stalls need to have a canvass on the floor of their stall to prevent staining. This is a condition of attendance and trading.
All Coffee Stalls need to remove any rubbish and left-over coffee grounds, before leaving the site.
Each stallholder is responsible for removing their own rubbish at the end of each market. Rubbish must not be left on site, nor placed in market or council rubbish bins. A fee of $50 will apply to any rubbish left onsite or in market or council bins.
Bins provided by the market and council are for customer use only. Commercial waste must not be placed in these bins.
Any damage found to equipment, landscaping, lighting, lessor’s (property owners) and/or market owner’s property will be charged to the individual responsible.
Stallholders are not, under any circumstances, to approach or touch any power outlets around the market at all times. If there are any issues with the power, or you require assistance with power – please always contact a team member or the market manager via the market mobile immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude and are released from any liability to you and your employees, agents, contractors and invitees, whether in contract, tort, statute or any other way, for any personal or financial injury, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, any liability for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage), sustained by you, your employees, agents, contractors, invitees and/or any other person, or for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by you, arising from or in connection with your occupancy of the Stall, unless caused by (and only to the extent of) our wilful misconduct, negligence or breach of a statutory duty or warranty.
You are liable for and indemnify us and our directors and officers from and against any claim or action (whether in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, including for negligence), liability, loss, damage, costs (including but not limited to, legal costs on a full indemnity basis), charges and expenses arising from or in connection with your occupancy of the Stall, including, without limitation, loss of or damage to property, or personal injury or death of any person.
This indemnity is independent from your other obligations under these Terms and Conditions and will continue while you are a Stallholder and after you have ceased to be a Stallholder. We may enforce this indemnity before incurring expense.
